Educator Summits and Institutes

With generous support from ConsumerAffairs and the University of Tulsa, the National Humanities Center is developing and hosting a series of intensive educator summits and institutes. These professional development gatherings, planned to take place in Tulsa each year from 2024 through 2028, are designed to offer Tulsa-area educators the opportunity to work closely with scholarly experts on a variety of topics, including artificial intelligence and digital literacy, Indigenous history of the American Plains, the legacy of white supremacist violence in Tulsa and elsewhere, and the Dust Bowl.
