The humanities help us understand and interpret the human experience, as individuals and communities. They also allow us to help us navigate complex and weighty issues. Collected here are ongoing and recent projects of the National Humanities Center that help bring humanities knowledge and methods to bear on contemporary issues and that highlight the ways humanities scholarship and teaching enrich all of our lives.
